Meet Ryan Emily
The heart of Speech Pearls - where play meets purpose and little wins turn into big confidence.
From a young age, Ryan Emily's passion for speech-language pathology was sparked by a special role model - her mom, a speech-language pathologist herself. Inspired by her early experiences, Ryan Emily loves using play-based, full body movement strategies to help children build functional communication skills in a fun and supportive way.
With extensive experience in pediatric outpatient settings throughout Houston, Ryan Emily is well-versed in diagnosing and treating a wide range of speech and language disorders. These include receptive and expressive language challenges, articulation and phonology, social pragmatic communication, fluency, feeding, and augmentative alternative communication (AAC). She has also received additional training in sensory integration (including the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration method), Talk Tools, DIR/Floortime approach, and sensory-based feeding techniques.
